Hammer In Maya~

In animation class we have been working very hard on using the program Maya. We were asked to make a hammer by splitting vertices and such. It was a difficult project, but I figured it out eventually. I believe the hardest part, for me, was attempting tomato the flat head of the hammer. Finding the correct number of edges I needed for the corners to become curved was difficult. I like the use of metal textures and figuring out how to move textures so that they fit with the shape. Using Maya 2017 we were able to create a semi-realistic hammer. Expect more of this stuff in the future: we're in for the long haul, Maya-wise.
